A Drawing Competition That Turns Children’s Creativity with a Crayon into them Protecting the Planet
The Power of a Crayon: Long before children learn to write persuasive essays, they can already tell powerful stories with pictures. When we invite kids to draw the forests they love, the litter they loathe, or the cleaner planet they dream of, we hand them a crayon and a megaphone. A well-designed drawing competition taps that distinctive creativity to spark lifelong environmental stewardship.
Children have big ideas about saving Earth—and they love to draw. To celebrate their creativity and bring awareness to the environment, we at Ebor Automotive Systems believe that nurturing the next generation starts at home—and that’s why we recently held a special drawing competition for the children of our employees. This drawing competition focused on encouraging kids to explore environmental awareness through art.
Young artists (ages 6-15) were invited to illustrate how they care for nature through colourful drawings—whether that’s recycling at home, planting trees, or protecting wildlife.
It was a wonderful sight to see how our employees’ families express their support in environmental awareness in such creative ways.
The competition not only sparked joy and creativity among the kids but also brought our workplace community closer together. Winners received wonderful prizes and all participants’ artwork was proudly displayed in our offices, reminding us daily of the importance of protecting the environment—for their future and ours.
This drawing competition proved that even the youngest members of our community have powerful voices and bright ideas for building a healthier, more sustainable future. This event reinforced that environmental awareness starts young and thrives when families and workplaces unite around shared values.
