For VWSA: EA111 Engine Intake Manifold (1.4l & 1.6l)
The injection-moulded, three-shell plastic (PA6 GF30) intake manifold is a high-quality component that is supplied as an assembly including compression limiters, gaskets and duo-sensor.
The manifold is vibration welded, ensuring a secure and reliable connection. Parts are thoroughly checked and 100% leak tested on completion, with full data-logging and traceability. The 1.4l and 1.6l derivatives utilize a common centre moulding with unique outer shells. The mould and weld tooling for this product is sourced from Korea.
The intake manifold was originally launched locally in Q1 2010, and since then, the supplier performance has consistently been rated best in class by VWSA Supplier Quality. The EBOR re-launch took place on March 29, 2015, with the same team, tools, equipment and facility working to the same high standards as before. Overall, the injection-moulded, three-shell plastic (PA6 GF30) intake manifold is a reliable and high-quality product that is thoroughly tested and has a proven track record of performance.
