To enhance EBOR’s technical measurement capability and ensuring alignment to both OE and world class best practices, a recent investment has been made into the above technology.
With a measurement resolution of 0.001mm and software graphical visualisation enabling the correlation of dimensional outputs against various process inputs. This improving levels of future process understanding, within the organisation.
The EBOR Operations Team started the development journey in Mid-2025, with the goal set at developing a local turnkey solution. Key deliverables being defined as ensuring adaptability, reduction in measurement time and value creation.
This was achieved through the integration of modular, interchangeable part measurement fixturing. The system design ensured the positional security of multiple part variants, aligned with GD&T and customer
specifications.
After the completion of the projects RFI and RFQ phases, a forged alignment was set between various role players. This ultimately ensuring a high degree of team collaboration, throughout the milestones by setting the foundation required and enabling the project’s critical success factors.
