Ebor Automotive Systems is proud to announce the official launch of our newly relocated manufacturing plant. Following a successful ceremonial ribbon-cutting event on 12 June 2026, our state-of-the-art facility is now fully operational and driving the future of automotive component manufacturing.
Martina Biene, Chairperson and Managing Director of Volkswagen Group Africa, officially led the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The moment celebrated Ebor’s vital role as a trusted component supplier and strategic partner.
The move represents a significant investment in our future; our new 9,846 -square- meter state of art plant features advanced technology and expanded production lines to ensure we meet the rising demands of our automotive clients with even faster delivery and enhanced supply chain efficiency.
Crucially, this expansion represents a deep investment in our local community. The new plant is actively fostering regional economic growth through substantial job creation, while offering new technical opportunities to skilled workers in the Eastern Cape.
