During August 2019 Ebor team members Silindokuhle (Pule) Mhletywa (East London Project Manager), Mentor Ndzawombi (East London Quality Engineer), Denver Coombs (Port Elizabeth Project Manager) and Sisabulela (Sisa) Kula (Project Engineer) attended a Daimler Mercedes Benz South Africa training session at their East London training academy.
The Mercedes-Benz Supplier Training is one of the many platforms created to ensure a smooth launch for the upcoming C-Class to be manufactured in the MBSA plant in East London. Ebor Automotive Systems has been one of the nominated suppliers for injection moulded components for this major project.
The training covers various methods on how suppliers are expected to integrate their systems to be in line with standards Mercedes-Benz has set. Ebor’s Projects and Quality team attended this training in preparation for the launch, scheduled for 2021.
