On 20 May 2019, EBOR staff gathered to celebrate founding director Andy Dealtry’s birthday with a surprise birthday party.
As part of the celebrations, staff members dedicated a poem as well as performed a cover of the popular song “Home to Africa” for Andy who originally grew up in the United Kingdom.
Andy came to South Africa to set up and run a new component production facility in Port Elizabeth in 2000. What started as a two-year assignment turned into a permanent relocation and ultimately he is a pivotal part of the team that established Ebor Automotive Systems in 2014.
